My mac hard drive is prompting with

To Repair i need a Mac OS X Snow Leopard installation disc OR Disk Image. Or to repair, I need this installation disc / disk image for making a USB based start up disk.
BUT, the installation Disc was not shipped, when i purchased the Mac.
Can anyone point/help, where can i find this snow leopard 10.6.8 disk image.
