Hello Experts, This is my first time am going to install MAC OS in my AMD Machine, here are my configuration details. AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT 8-Core Processor ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB Corsair RAM 32GB I referred youtube and other forums. MAC OS X Snow Leopard 10 6 4 AMD Intel VmWare Image DOWNLOAD.

VirtualBox is a world-famous application that offers its users plenty of advanced tools for effective customization. You can freely install any OS on your machine without any interruption from your current OS. Below you can find a detailed manual on how install Mac OS X Snow Leopard on VirtualBox without any difficulties.

1. Create a new Virtual Machine with name “OSX” On the next page Configure RAM you wish to.
2. FYI, Snow Leopard 10.6.2 (x86-modified Hazard distro) under VirtualBox 3.2.8 (no OS X Guest Additions supported) seems to be an order of magnitude slower than VMware Snow Leopard 10.6.2 Retail with VMware Tools (torrent: “Mac OS X 10.6.2 Virtual Machine for VMware”). Core 2 Quad, Raptor RAID 0, Windows 7 host, 2GB guest RAM.
3. Note: Installer does not yet run on Hackintoshes (both Intel and AMD), one has to install on a real Mac or VM and then transfer the installation. Latest nightly of OpenCore is ready for Big Sur now. Also, it looks like Catalina 10.15.5 cannot read APFS format of Big Sur, you cannot restore the image to a single volume from Catalina.

You will need to have a system with an Intel/AMD processor that is able to support hardware virtualization, VirtualBox, OSX86 iso, and Windows OS used as host operating system.

1. Download and install the freshest version of VirtualBox for your OS.
2. Launch VirtualBox and choose “New”. A special wizard will be started to help you to set up everything proplerly.
3. Name your vertical machine as “OSX” and choose “Mac OS X” from OS menu, and “Mac OS X Server” from Version menu.
4. Choose some RAM for your VM. We`ve chosen 1500MB.
5. Create a new hard disk for your virtual machine that will be approx. 20GB
6. Go to “Settings” and choose “System”. Then you will need to uncheck the option for “Enable EFI (special OSes only)” as on the screenshot below.
7. Now choose “Storage”, located in the left panel, and choose “Empty. Now select a special folder with the green arrow.Then choose Add at the top of the Window, as shown above. Then you will need to add the OSX86 iso you have already downloaded. Highlight it and tap Select. Then just choose OK and press Start button to launch your VM.
8. When your begins booting, press F8 and enter -v at the boot prompt to find out any issues that might go wrong. Choose the desirable language and then choose next. In case your mouse sticks, press Right-Ctrl + I. After that you will need to launch Disk Utility located in Utilities toolbar.
9. You will need to highlight 20GB VBOX HARDDISK as on the screen above. Then choose erase to delete all the data from the virtual disk. Then leave the Disk Utility menu to continue the process. Now you will need to select the highlighted drive and continue.
10. Now press Done and tap Install button to initiate the installation.

This is all After it boots up, you will be able to run Mac OS X Snow Leopard in VirtualBox under your favorite Windows system.

I managed to install Mac OS X 10.5.8 on an AMD Athlon X2 system after little trouble. I’ll post the procedure to make sure if I have to do it again I can easily refer and someone trying to do the same can save the trouble. This will be composed of a series of posts, a post per step.

In the mean time find out the specifications of your box. I’m using GIGABYTE GAPM61SME-S2 motherboard with AMD Athlon X2 CPU. If your specifications are just like mine go ahead and download all the files listed bellow, otherwise download 1-3 and then look for kexts for your motherboard.

Steps

1. Patch the iPC DVD image (Otherwise the DVD will never boot)
2. Install Mac OS X 10.5.6
3. Remove all Intel kexts (Improves the boot time)
4. Install Mac OS X 10.5.7 update
5. Install Mac OS X 10.5.8 update
